Becton Dickinson (BD) is a GLOBAL medical technology company that develops, manufactures and sells medical supplies, devices, laboratory equipment, and diagnostic equipment worldwide. Dr. Barnhill was the founder and CEO of the Barnhill Clinical Laboratories, which was acquired by Quest Diagnostics.

Dr. Barnhill is a co-inventor of the first neural network patents used in medicine, which were acquired by Johnson & Johnson. He is also the inventor of the first support vector machine patents used in medicine for genomic discovery. In addition, Dr. Barnhill is the sole inventor or co-inventor on numerous issued pioneer patents in artificial intelligence based machine learning techniques and diagnostic discovery; was instrumental in the development of neural network based diagnostic tests for prostate and ovarian cancer, led the team that identified and patented the genes that cause colon cancer; has numerous peer-reviewed publications in medical and scientific journals and has been a featured speaker at major medical conferences, both Internationally and in the United States.

Massimo Carrara has served as the vice president, global strategic marketing, for Bracco Diagnostics Inc. (BDI), since 2007. Carrara spent 10 years, from 1995 to 2010, in increasing levels of responsibility within the sales and marketing arena of Bracco, where his positions included worldwide sales and marketing development manager of Bracco Imaging in Milan, Italy, and general manager of Bracco Diagnostics Canada. Carrara leverages his extensive experience of understanding the marketing operations of the diagnostic imaging industry, both domestically and internationally.

Prior to his tenure with Bracco, Carrara spent five years with Nycomed Amersham (now GE Healthcare) in Italy, where his positions included nuclear oncology business manager and contrast media marketing manager.

Carrara earned his master’s degree from Columbia Business School in New York with a double major in finance and organization.

John Norris is a Former Principal Deputy Commissioner and COO of the US FDA in Washington, DC, where he is best known for having led the last highly successful FDA-reform initiative in the Agency's storied history, from May 1984 to May 1988. This work was performed under the overall leadership and guidance of President Ronald Reagan, HHS Secretaries Margaret Heckler and Dr. Otis Bowen, FDA Commissioner Dr. Frank Young, Senator Orrin Hatch, and Congressman Paul Rogers.

He is currently COO of Health Discovery Corporation, a healthcare-IT company having 70 patents and patents pending in the pattern-recognition and personalized-medicine fields, and Chairman of Norris Capital.

Until recently, he simultaneously also taught healthcare policy and management (including healthcare-reform, Medicare-reform, healthcare-IT-reform, personalized-medicine-reform, and FDA-reform) at Harvard University, and was Founder and Faculty-Editor-in-Chief of the American Journal of Law, Medicine, and Ethics, a leading academic publication covering healthcare policy, law, regulation, management, finance, and ethics.

He has been the CEO to a significant number of successful life-sciences and healthcare-IT companies and has served on the boards of and/or consulted with dozens more. For example, he helped champion the billion dollar turn-around of the laser eye surgery company, Summit Technology, and he was Chairman of the Board of the American Society of Law, Medicine, and Ethics. Over his career at ISRG, Sean grew from one of the initial sales trainees on to Sales Director for the Midwest region to oversee all field sales activities and establish the da Vinci® system and the field sales team in the Central US. Sean’s career in medical device sales began at Johnson & Johnson’s Ethicon Endo-Surgery. He holds a BA in education from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY.

Kiran Mysore leads the Business Intelligence (BI) program at St. Jude Medical, US Division (USD). At USD, Kiran’s efforts center around empowering a highly productive, top performing, and well-informed sales and marketing organization through an effective implementation of BI. Kiran has over 14 years of in-depth experience in BI, and has led efforts at several Fortune-500 companies to realize the alue and impact of BI. Kiran has a Master of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and resides in Minneapolis, MN.
